7 – 10 June 2016:  First CCFL Training residential workshop at Falmouth University, Cornwall, UK

Participants will come together over four days to reflect on their stories and creative ambitions, explore new ideas and plan individual development for the months ahead.

Theme: How a greater understanding of VFX and/or Stereo 3D and storytelling can influence your European feature film for the better, creatively and practically

  • real life case studies of innovation in action
  • direct input from story consultant and technical mentor to develop project ideas
  • peer learning opportunities
  • practical hands-on experimentation with relevant technical tools

July – September 2016:

  • Online training: 2-hour evening sessions revisiting workshop material, hosted over 5 evenings in September 2016, open to both core and online programme participants
  • Virtual consultations with industry mentors for each selected participant
  • Access to Cross Channel Film Lab Training archive

14 – 17 November 2016:  Second CCFL Training residential workshop at Le Groupe Ouest, Brittany, France

Participants and consultants will be reunited over four days.

  • real life case studies of innovation in action
  • direct input from story consultant and technical mentor to develop project ideas
  • peer learning opportunities
  • pitching for feedback
  • consultations for participants to prepare for final project pitches

  • Online training: 2-hour evening sessions hosted over 4 – 5 evenings in December 2016 including a live online pitching panel with invited industry guests
